Letterhome prints and posts letters and documents from inside Canada on your behalf. Each order is handled by a person — checked for obvious problems, printed in full colour, packed into a stamped envelope, and dropped at the post office.

Why we built this

The gap we're filling.

If you live outside Canada, mailing something back home is harder than it should be. The CRA wants signed paper. Family expect a letter on the right day. Banks and accountants keep sending mail to addresses you no longer use. From Berlin, Bangkok or Auckland, none of that is easy to deal with.

Letterhome is the workaround. You write the letter, attach any documents, pay, and we mail it from Canada — same postage and postmark as if you'd dropped it off yourself. We also mail outwards from Canada to 160+ countries, so it works the other way around too.

Orders are checked by a person before printing — not for content, but for problems that would prevent delivery (typos in addresses, unreadable PDFs, that kind of thing). Beyond that, we don't read or store what's in your letters.

How we operate.

Hand-checked before printing

Every order is reviewed by a person before it's printed — for addressing errors, unreadable attachments, or anything else that would stop the mail from getting through. If there's a problem, we email you before charging or printing.

We don't keep your letters

The content of your letter is used to print and post it, then deleted within 7 days of mailing. The order record we keep afterwards is the minimum required for Canadian tax reporting.

Flat pricing

$10 to a Canadian address, $20 to anywhere else. The price includes up to 5 documents of full-colour printing, the envelope, postage, and the trip to the post office. No per-page charges or surprise add-ons.

Payments through Stripe

Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't see or store your card details, and your financial information doesn't touch our systems.

Canada Post for delivery

Letters go through Canada Post's network with the same postage and service level you'd get if you'd mailed it yourself from a Canadian address.

Direct replies

No ticket queues. If something goes wrong with your order, the person who replies is the person who handled it. We aim to respond within one business day.
